BLINK Parade and Tour
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for connection and inspiration to our Redeemer community. On Thursday, October 10, Jo and Alan Henning will lead a group of Redeemerites through the opening of BLINK Cincinnati. BLINK is one of the largest light, art, and projection mapping events in the nation. This evening, sponsored by our Second Half ministry, will include BLINK Future City Spectacular Parade, as well as a tour of the various downtown installations. The parade consists of more than 3,000 community participants, including members of local school, civic, and church groups that will dazzle with performance, light sculptures, and illuminated costumes. All are welcome to join us. Timing and details are below.
If you wish to participate, simply meet the group at 7:15 pm in front of Graeter's Ice Cream (511 Walnut St) on Fountain Square. We will then walk to Vine Street to watch the parade which kicks off at 7:30 pm. Once the parade has passed us, we will walk east and north from the parade route and ultimately finish near Washington Park before 10:00 pm. We will have maps to hand out that evening.
PARKING: There is parking available beneath Fountain Square and Washington Park.
