During this time of physical distancing and Stay-At-Home orders we are all feeling a bit vulnerable to the threat of COVID-19. Unfortunately, there is also an increased threat from scammers. See below for some of the issues of which we are currently aware and follow the tips provided by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to avoid fraud.
Coronoavirus Relief Check Scam: The government is sending out relief checks as part of the federal response to the economic downturn due to the coronavirus COVID-19. This has alerted scammers and made recipients vulnerable to fraud. Check out the FTC website for more information.

Phil Phishing Emails: We have noticed another wave of emails from someone purporting to be our Rector, Phil DeVaul. Please do not respond to any emails that come from Phil asking for help, whether it be food or money, without first contacting him directly in a new email to his church email address: [email protected].
