Club CoR: April 19 - Second Sunday of Easter
This week's Big Idea is: We give up some things to help save many people, just like Jesus gave up his life to help save us. Watch the short film "Lost and Found" (directed by Andrew Goldsmith & Bradley Slabe; produced by Lucy J. Hayes; written by Bradley Slabe) and use the provided questions to spark a discussion of the big idea.

Big Idea: We give up some things to help save many people, just like Jesus gave up his life to help save us.
Takeaway:
We all have given up some things by staying home from the virus. We have given up freedoms. Some have given up jobs. Many people are hurting. We can pray for them and know that we are giving up things to help save many other people from dying. We also can know that God loved us so much that he sent his only Son to us to show us how to love. Jesus died for us to show how much God loves us. He rose again and is with us always, in our hearts and minds. I like to think that the Fox was able to bring back the Dinosaur in a new way so that he was still with the fox, even thought he gave himself to save Fox.
Discuss:
- Is this a sad or happy story? or both? Why?
- Who are the dinosaur and fox?
- What happens in the story?
- How does the story end, or is it really still going?
- Does this story remind you of any other story that you have heard recently? Read John 3:16 for a hint.
- What does it mean to give up something for someone else?
- Is it hard to give up something for someone else? Why or why not?
