Mural at Madison Villa made possible by Gary and Janice Lubin going up this Summer
Please join us for a Day of Service at Madison Villa on July 12. MV Residents & staff and volunteers from Church of the Redeemer, will all come together for a very special day to participate in the painting of the ArtWorks mural that will go on a large wall on the front of the MV community. In addition to painting together, we will have time to socialize and have lunch.
The mural is a gift made possible through the generosity of several donors, including our Deacon, Rev. Gary Lubin. Gary’s wife Janice passed away a little over a year ago and this mural will celebrate her life and both of their generosity as significant friends of Episcopal Relief Services. The artist chosen for the mural is Ann E. Geise.
"As an artist from the Midwest (Cincinnati, Ohio) much of my work represents the landscapes and wildlife that can be found in southern Ohio. I like to paint subjects I know and see everyday — rural landscapes, backyard birds, local fauna and flora. Different seasons and changing light conditions keep familiar subjects fresh and new."
