Pride Month and LGBTQ + Inclusion Training
Over the past 6 months, Redeemer Church and Preschool staff had the privilege of receiving 8 hours of LGBTQ+ inclusion training with Tristan Vaught, a sought-after local expert, activist, and educator. Tristan helped us to grow our understanding through developing a broader and more targeted vocabulary, cultivating a more complete picture of the many dimensions of identity, and expanding our understanding of how intersecting identities impact individuals’ lived experiences. Tristan’s wealth of wisdom and experience will be available to our church and preschool staff throughout the coming year, as we work to live more deeply into our Vision Statement.
