Rector's Blog: Not a Blog
This blog is also available as a podcast.
Friends, I won’t be writing a blog this week. As you know, last week I announced that we would be returning to in-person worship indoors. This Sunday at 9am we will participate in Holy Eucharist inside our sanctuary for the first time since March of 2020. Registration is necessary. Seating will be limited. Distancing and masking will be required. Childcare will be available as will assistance for those with mobility issues. This 9am service will continue to be livestreamed for those who are not able to attend in person. We will continue to offer Pop-Up Church in Ault Park at 11:15, weather permitting, through the end of May.
I’m linking to the page with information about the 9am service here: https://www.redeemer-cincy.org/sunday-indoor-worship/ Please go to this page and read through it. It provides a clear description of what worship will be like, and what is required for us to engage in a successful and safe regathering. Registration for this week and next week are now available!
I have every confidence that all who joins us in person will adhere to the Community Covenant and will partner with our ushers and greeters in the work of masking, distancing, and taking care of one another. I thank you in advance for that.
We made a video to show you what coming back will look like, and I’ve linked to that here. I don’t mind bragging on our team and saying it’s pretty fantastic. I hope it feeds your enthusiasm for being back in the sanctuary!
I am so grateful to our whole CARE Team, led by Becca Morehous, for their counsel in the work we’ve been doing throughout this pandemic. Their ministry is a very practical and life-giving gift to the Church of the Redeemer. My excitement grows daily as we prepare for our time together this Sunday. See you soon!
