Restorative Wellbeing
Self-Care Pandemic Style
Most pursuits of wellbeing are centered in achievement, entering into strategic behavior change to become a better version of oneself. However, in this current climate, that model completely fails us. As we endure months of a global pandemic, we begin to realize we are in need of restorative wellbeing.
Church of the Redeemer's Health and Wellness Ministry, in cooperation with our Family Ministry, will offer Restorative Wellbeing sessions in January 2021. Each session will outline the existing model we have for wellbeing and why it falls short of our human needs for wholistic self-care. It will provide specific tactics for restoration, leaving you feeling capable and prepared to improve your wellbeing in the midst of a crisis. The session also includes time for discussion as this content often uncovers several a-ha moments that attendees may like to share. Attendees will also have the option to receive a Realize Wellbeing Guidebook for ongoing personal development.
The sessions will be led by Maggie Gough, founder of Realize Wellbeing and nationally recognized wellness expert. Three sessions are offered in an effort to engage all. Registration is required. All sessions are offered via Zoom.
