Restorative Wellbeing Small Groups
Amplify
To serve the growing need for intentional connection, spiritual development, and restorative wellbeing, Church of the Redeemer’s Health & Wellness Ministry and Family Ministry offer a small group ministry called, “Amplify”. Led by Maggie Gough, wellbeing expert and parishioner, these small groups of 8-10 people are designed to gather virtually twice monthly to amplify connection and wisdom through a curriculum of self-discovery and restorative wellbeing.
“I teach people that wellbeing is like a light that they hold inside of themselves. It's something that can be amplified or diminished by things that are inside of our control and outside of our control, and that our pursuit of wellbeing is really becoming attuned to the things that we need to nourish that light inside of ourselves. Similarly, when we think about our faith, our spiritual practices, and our relationship with God, we want to become attuned to the things that need nourishment and offer that to ourselves.” ~ Maggie Gough
In addition to virtual gatherings, each group member will receive weekly newsletters from Maggie to keep them moving. Each small group will also have access to a private chat channel where group members can choose to communicate, as desired, with each other.
Groups have formed and will meet March through May of this year. Additional groups may be formed in the summer and fall depending on demand.
