The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting
Raising Children with Courage, Compassion, Connection
Perfect parenting does not exist!
This fall, we are excited to offer this series by author Brené Brown and led by the Rev. Mary Laymon. Join us as we begin a journey to create wholehearted families that will help our children have the courage to be authentic, the compassion to love themselves and others, and the sense of connection that gives true purpose and meaning to life. The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting offers a practical and hopeful program of family activities and conversations for raising children who know that they are worthy of love, belonging, and joy.
The course will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, on Monday evenings in the Great Hall, once a month, from September through May. There is no cost and childcare is available. The first class is Monday, September 9. Although there is no meal provided, you are welcome to bring dinner on-the-go.
The Rev. Mary Laymon has been nurturing the spiritual journeys of individuals and communities for more than 20 years. Mary is also certified to facilitate Brené Brown's Rising Strong and Daring Greatly curriculum. Mary has facilitated series, as well as preached, at Redeemer before and is excited to be offering a series for families this time.
