Website Tutorial: Part 1
How to Find Information on Our Website
Part 1: The Homepage
Given our worshiping community’s move from the church building to online, now is a good time to explore our website and see what all we have to offer there. This post is one in a series of posts meant to help you find the information you need and maybe some surprises you didn’t know were there.
Our website tells the story of who we are to all. And it also acts as a connector point for members of Redeemer. At this time, it is also the place where we worship together. The top of the homepage is the entry point for all the information contained within.
This week we will have a look at our homepage.
If you click on the Learn More button, the Redeemer Online page will open, and you can find links to the variety of online options we have on the site.
If you use your mouse to scan slowly across the “ribbon” at the top, beginning with ABOUT and ending with MEDIA, you will see drop down menus that will quickly get you to your favorite pages. You can also use the magnifying glass on the far right next to MEDIA to search the site.
At the top on the far right you will see a button called Give. Click on it and see what’s available there at your fingertips.
Scroll down just a little bit and you can see our latest Facebook posts and links to our Latest Sermons. Clicking on anyone of these will enlarge the image and allow you to click on through to the post or podcast.
At the bottom of the page on the left are our latest posts. This is a good place to keep your eye on for the latest information. Posts are made here regularly, so check in as often as you’d like.
At the bottom of the page on the left are ways to connect with us. Feel free to use the contact Redeemer button to reach out to us any time and we will make sure the appropriate staff member gets back to you.
Hope this was helpful!
