We are honored to welcome The Rev. Casey J. Jones as Church of the Redeemer’s Associate Priest for Worship.
Coming to us from the Diocese of Long Island, The Reverend Jones has served in a variety of ministry and leadership roles, including Campus Missioner at Saint Michael’s University Church, Case Manager at Saint Joseph Center, and Digital Ministry and Program Consultant for The Episcopal Church’s African Descent Ministries. He later served as Seminarian at Saint George’s Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Washington before most recently serving as Curate at Caroline Church in Setauket, New York.
He received his B.A. in English in 2019 at Morehouse College and received his Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2025.
In addition to his parish ministry, The Reverend Jones has served in leadership roles throughout The Episcopal Church and the broader interfaith community. He was an Episcopal Service Corps Jubilee Year Los Angeles Fellow (2020–2021) and has held numerous leadership positions with the Union of Black Episcopalians, including Young Adult Representative to the Board of Directors, National Youth and Young Adult Committee Chair, Vice President of the H. Belfield Hannibal Chapter, and member of the Diocese of Long Island Chapter. He also serves on The Episcopal Church African Descent Ministries Council of Advice.
Beyond the Episcopal Church, he has been actively involved with Interfaith America as an Emerging Leader Network member, Interfaith Leadership Institute Trainer, Interfaith Innovation Fellow, and Better Together Coach.

Amoni, Amara, and I are honored and excited to follow God with Church of the Redeemer Cincinnati. As Episcopalians, we are principally formed in worship, so I am humbled by the trust that Church of the Redeemer have placed in me in the life and leadership of this parish. However, as the Associate Priest for Worship, I most look forward to serving the parishioners, staff, and clergy of Church of the Redeemer (especially the worship team and volunteers) as colleagues living into a shared vision of, “a worshiping community that knows Jesus and grows in love.”
