We celebrate Larry and Kathe Kissel on their induction into the Society of St. Simeon and St. Anna of the Diocese of Southern Ohio!
The Society recognizes older Episcopalians whose lives reflect faithful Christian witness, wisdom, and a lasting commitment to their congregations and communities. Members are honored for the ways they live out their faith, share their experience and wisdom, and serve as examples of Christian living.
Larry and Kathe embody these qualities through their many years at Church of the Redeemer. Together, they have welcomed parishioners as ushers, served on the Altar and Flower Guilds, supported safe in-person worship during the pandemic, and helped lead our annual parish picnic.
Their commitment extends beyond our parish, too. Larry has chaired the Mission Funding Committee, supported Habitat for Humanity and People Working Cooperatively worksites, and advocated for underserved members of our community. Kathe served as our wedding coordinator, helping couples prepare for their wedding days with care and compassion. Both have also served on Vestry.
We are grateful for the wisdom, leadership, faith, and love of community that Larry and Kathe continue to share with Church of the Redeemer and beyond. Please join us in celebrating this wonderful honor!
