Becoming a Member
Learn how membership opens doors to deeper community and spiritual growth.
Anyone who worships here, joins a ministry, and contributes regularly is considered a member of Church of the Redeemer. However, in The Episcopal Church, official membership includes being baptized as well. In addition, it is expected that adults will be confirmed and, if confirmed elsewhere, will have their membership transferred to Church of the Redeemer.
Confirmation
Confirmation is an adult affirmation of faith that renews the covenant made on your behalf at baptism. If you are a baptized Christian of any denomination, but have not yet been confirmed, you can prepare for this step through our Adult Membership classes, usually offered in the fall. If you were confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church or the Orthodox Church, you can join The Episcopal Church by being received into our branch of the faith. The Bishop confirms and receives those ready at the annual visitation.
If you have not been baptized, we would be happy to invite you into the community through this sacrament. If you are interested in baptism, please contact Anny Stevens-Gleason.

- Establish Episcopal membership by being confirmed or received here or by requesting that your membership be transferred from another Episcopal parish.
- Make a pledge to the parish. Your financial support is vital, but the commitment that is represented by your pledge is even more important. You may fill out a pledge form on our website. Learn more here.

Our invitation to you is to join us as we seek to know Jesus and grow in love. We encourage you to undertake a ministry or fellowship opportunity here that will strengthen your relationship with Jesus.
