Communion 101

Communion 101 is an interactive event about the sacrament of the Eucharist, specifically focusing on communion, for 2nd through 12th graders. Our goal is to generate understanding about why we do what we do around the altar when we worship as Episcopalians. We’ll travel around the church, visit the holy spaces where ministries happen, and share a meal together, all to deepen their appreciation of communion. This also serves as a confirmation fulfillment for anyone working through that process, as well.

Our next offering for Communion 101 is March 15, 2024, from 9am-1pm. Lunch will be provided.

We are also asking parents to arrive around 12:30pm to join the group as we partake in communion to end our time together.
