Second Half of Life Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum tour and BBQ potluck

Meet at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati 45232) for a Tram Tour with a potluck barbecue dinner afterwards at Kathe & Larry Kissel’s home.

Along with the renowned distinction of being the second-largest cemetery in the US, Spring Grove Cemetery is also proud of its designation as a National Historic Landmark, and it’s one of only seven cemeteries to hold this national honor.

The tram tour is titled “History and Heritage” and we’ve heard great feedback about it. Arrive by 3:45pm for a 4:00pm tram tour.

Turn right after the entrance for the parking lot and tram. The tram limit is 25 people, so CLICK to RSVP to easily register and receive a confirmation email. Regardless of whether you attend the tram tour, all are welcome to a potluck dinner at Kathe & Larry Kissel’s home in Clifton, where easy street parking is available.

Come directly from the tram tour or arrive around 6:00 pm. The entrée will be provided (perhaps BBQ chicken) so bring a dish to share and your own drinks.
