The Church of the Redeemer Funeral Reception Ministry provides assistance to families who would like to have a reception at the church following the death of a loved one. The receptions are generally held in the Great Hall, and anything from a simple beverage service to a full catered meal for the family and friends can be arranged according to the number of guests and desires of the family. This is a ministry which comforts and supports families during a time of grief and sorrow. A person serving in this ministry would probably be called upon two or three times each year.
