Hospitality
The call to hospitality begins with a desire to build community. That joy which stems from welcoming people into a loving community, a warm and beautiful space, and then feeding them. Everyone is hungry for something and at Church of the Redeemer our Hospitality Team strives to feed that hunger in a variety of ways.
The team is a collection of several hospitality ministries: Coffee Hour, Newcomer Events, Funeral Receptions, Main Dish, Greeters, Weddings, Block Parties, and various special celebrations throughout any given year. One may choose to be a part of these specific ministries (which would automatically make you a part of the Hospitality Team) or may just prefer to volunteer ad hoc when available.

Greeters
Church of the Redeemer Greeters greet and welcome newcomers and parishioners to worship services and events. Greeters help newcomers find childcare, the Nave, and the Great Hall for coffee. They also introduce newcomers to the clergy, assist the ushers, as needed, and follow-up with the New People Manager, as needed.

Funeral Reception Ministry
The Church of the Redeemer Funeral Reception Ministry provides assistance to families who would like to have a reception at the church following the death of a loved one.
