CoR After School will be providing hot meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning next week, December 2, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm, with assistance from Clark Montessori, UMC Food Ministry, and a $1,500 Hunger Relief Grant from the Diocese of Southern Ohio.
This is in response to students needing access to hot meals due to varying circumstances like the cut in SNAP benefits and long hours at school due to extracurricular activities, without access to food sources.
Redeemer is matching those funds to get us kicked off with $3,000 to provide these meals to ANY students who need them. Meals will be served in the Undercroft from 3pm until 7pm. If anyone is interested in volunteering to serve food during those hours, please reach out to Tym House.
