First, we would like to thank all those who participated in the listening sessions over the last 3 months and to this community in supporting this work. We received a lot of data and are very excited to share it with you.
We had around 125 participants over the 10 listening sessions. We held a few sessions were held for groups the gather regularly as well as for the mission board, mission funding committee, and two open Sunday sessions held at 10 am.
Our work was grounded in the obedience and deep listening of the Benedictine Life Cycle Model and all groups participated in creating asset maps for Redeemer’s neighborhood, recognizing our resources, current partnerships, and potential partnerships.
For the month of June we will have all the chart paper from all the sessions in the great hall for you to read.
If you were unable to attend a listening session, no worries, we want the whole community to engage with the data by answering these questions:
- What words or phrases are you seeing repeatedly?
- Are there shared values or hopes present?
- What feels most energizing?
The last question is one that speaks to the rich resources of this place:
- What ministries or organizations do you participate in or support that Redeemer doesn’t partner with?
- What ministries or organizations can you provide that might be a resource for Redeemer?
Again, we are so grateful for you all in this work as we walk this path of being love in the world, here at Redeemer.
