Advent Wreath Making & Newcomer Coffee Hour

You’re warmly invited, whether you’re brand new to Church of the Redeemer, newly curious, or simply wanting a refresher, to a special combined gathering on November 29 at 10am and 12pm in the Undercroft.

This morning will bring together two beloved traditions in the life of Church of the Redeemer: our annual Advent Wreath Making Workshop and Newcomer Coffee Hour.

Newcomer Coffee Hour is a relaxed, come-as-you-are space to share a cup of coffee, meet others, and begin learning names, rhythms, and practices of life at Church of the Redeemer. During this time, we’ll also offer a few helpful introductions like how to use the Church of the Redeemer app and other simple tools that help you stay connected and provide optional building tours for anyone who would like one.

If tours are not your thing, you are still very welcome to stay, enjoy coffee, and create an Advent wreath. All Church of the Redeemer folks are invited to join us for this annual tradition! If you will not be present on the day we make our wreaths, kits will be available for pickup in the church offices.

For those already connected at Church of the Redeemer, you’re invited to stay after making your wreaths and help extend the welcome. It’s a chance to show up, make space at the table, and help others feel at home. No special role is required, just the ministry of presence.
