Hyde Park Church Collective Presents: Lessons from the Wilderness: What the Bible Can Teach us about Politics (and It’s Not What You Think) with author, Angela Rockop Erisman.

Join us on Wednesday, January 14 at 6:30 pm in our Sanctuary at Church of the Redeemer.

Angela Roskop Erisman is an independent scholar of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament with an active program of writing and teaching in a variety of community settings, both religious and secular. She holds a PhD from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and is a past winner of the Manfred Lautenschläger Award for Theological Promise, an international award for outstanding early career scholarship in the field of religion. Her latest book, The Wilderness Narratives in the Hebrew Bible: Religion, Politics, and Biblical Interpretation, was published in January 2025 by Cambridge University Press.
